About the Studio

My studio is located in my home off Trabuco between Bake Pkwy and Lake Forest Blvd in Lake Forest, CA.

Studio hours are Monday – Friday from 3:00pm – 6:30pm.

Practicing at home will be positive and productive (no tears) because your child will learn the correct way to practice his/her songs while they are here with me.

No prior musical experience needed! Your child will learn to play music from the very first lesson on their own.
Technology and games are utilized to further teach musical concepts that your child will enjoy.
Lessons and makeup lessons are always flexible and easy to arrange for families in my studio. I have an unlimited makeup policy!
An encouraging and positive environment is provided for your child. This allows him/her to feel confident and assured and experience a sense of pride in themselves that they couldn’t even imagine!

About Me

I began taking piano lessons at the age of 5 with my Mom, who at the time had over 30 piano students! Fun Fact: my Mom who is currently 83 years old, STILL teaches piano lessons to over 20 students!

I studied piano with her for over 10 years, as well as a few other instructors in my high school years. During this time, I also developed a love and passion for working with children and knew without a shadow of a doubt that I wanted to be a “teacher” when I grew up.

After graduating from college with a degree in elementary education/liberal studies, I had the awesome privilege of teaching elementary school for 5 years before starting my own family in 1993.

It’s at that time that I discovered my perfect sweet spot, as my gift for working with children and passion for playing piano merged together in an beautiful way. I started my own piano business in the Fall of 1993, and have been teaching piano ever since. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
